One of a kind sourdough bread

"ARTESIAN SOURDOUGH BREAD COMPANY"
Each Artesian Sourdough loaf takes roughly 24 hours to make from start to finish. Every loaf is made from a labor of love from our head baker, Rich Scheve.
At the heart of all our sourdough products, is our sourdough starter: a mix of unbleached flour and Artesian Water, this natural yeast is used in place of commercial yeast, which is found in all other bread. The starter is a fermenting organism that contains bacteria and wild yeasts derived from our Martinsville ecosystem, aka our "secret ingredient." Our Artesian water makes our Sourdough profile unlike any other.
Rich Scheve has had a love for baking since his teen years. He has always been interested in products that have incredible health benefits. Sourdough bread has remarkable health benefits.
Rich learned to make sourdough bread thru lots of trial and error until eventually he perfected his recipe. With his "secret ingredient" aka Artesian Water, his sourdough bread is the best around.
This is not his first rodeo with a baking company start up. In June 2021, Rich helped our youngest son, Jude, start a successful company called "Jude's Greek Kourabiedes" by becoming the head baker. These irresistible cookies are so good that one bite has our customers coming back for more.
Rich takes pride in producing the best baking products in the food industry. His work ethic and striving for perfection are inspiring.
